It's a very different viewing experience, had one for about 10 years now, can't go back.I definitely toyed with the idea of splashing out on an ultra-short throw projector (we're in a townhouse so a standard projector setup isn't really in the cards). Couldn't quite make it work in our space, sadly.
One day.
EDIT- I also just really like that when it's off, you're left with just a big white screen as opposed to the big black hole of a powered down television. They've gotten better with this in integrating photo modes and whatnot so the tv serves a purpose when it's off. But it's still a little clunky for me visually when you get into the big big sizes.
