It's times like these that I'm partially bitter that both my rigs are by way of necessity powered by ugly AVRs. But partially happy that I can't go the stereo amp route because I WAAAAANT SO MANY OF THE PRETTY PRETTIES

Yeah, I don't think it's ultimately a wise purchase.
But the dials and veneer and the limited nature of it makes my lizard brain tingle.

All kidding aside, I'm not gonna break my neck trying to get an LE, but I'll be curious about the "regular" version. I should have kept my NAD way back when, but I gotta be honest, I'm so happy with how my system is sounding right now I doubt a change will happen.............never say never, I know, lol.
Like I said, I'll be curious once it hits the streets.

Give it’s the same model number I’d imagine the non limited would have to have the dials too? Whether it has the case might be a different question.

My new AVR has a big screen on it. It's ugly as hell. And the screen is stupid and pointless. Sounds great though.

No I’d say that’s deliberate but I’m guessing that given it’s effectively the same amplifier from the specs (minus a blu os module that you can add later anyway because nad love the modules these days) that it’d be an unnecessary extra cost to design a completely different face plate. Of course I could be completely wrong there…

It looks awesome. But the coolest thing is the built in room correction. Optional on the non LE but I don’t see getting one without it.

I was never on the burn Mofi train. I have no problem with them being digital as long as they sound good.

I’m so excited to read this. The Prime 21 would be the logical upgrade in the VPI world here as well - it’s not a huge jump from where I’m at to the Scout range. Big arm upgrade here. I’m pulling for this - keep us posted!!

Haha thanks man. I made some enquiries and I can get it for about $3600 USD without cart. But the store isn't currently taking trades so I gotta sell my Revels and current table first. It's a doable price, but after the recent theatre upgrades and stupid boring expensive new roof/chimney on house I can't do it for a bit... But this is the way I'm gunna go. Just have to figure out how to tell my wife who is liable to lock me out of the house when I suggest it.

Forgiveness over permission and all that…
I took the forgiveness approach after spending that on the power supply for my TT. I survived. I mean, I walk with a limp and can only see out of one eye now but it’s okay. Worth it.

Yeah you just gotta understand, in the past year I've bought two laser projectors, a 120 inch screen and a second Arcam AVR. If bring any other new stuff home my wife will throat punch me.
