Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

That's the one thing, it's massive, I just put it on my table. But I mean the only part the touches anything is the bottom of the base so it won't really get scratched.

I know I was just messing with you, but I have seen people lay things like that top down which seems crazy. And part of the reason I’d like a table with a hinged cover at all price points is that other than the dining table I’d have nowhere to put the thing!

Oh trust me. The VPI no dust cover thing was NOT exactly a selling point.

I’m increasingly thinking that if and when I’m able, and want, to buy a fancy table that the funk firm lsd2 is where I’m at. Looks nice (especially the one with the walnut plinth topped with white acrylic), small form factor, interesting ideas and relatively locally made.

Anyone here have any experience with Qln Speakers out of Sweden. Some solid reviews, but not much first hand experience available. Or at least that I’ve seen. I’m looking at the Prestige 3 or 5.

Did someone say “Colossus”?
It really is nuts. That cabinet is so heavy now that the floor is like concrete around it. Used to just lightly walk past and it would skip my old table. I can do jumping jacks in front of it now and the damn thing doesn't even flinch. My only concern is that the 60 year old floor collapses into the basement under the weight of all that gear.

I gotta admit, I'm liking the look of this table

That price tag though. It’s nuts.
