Everything Video Games!

I think these will still be fairly straightforward to get, it's just the tariff nonsense that's driving a lot of FOMO and early adopters I think.
these are the type of comments I want to hear 😂 .. I'm one of those worry warts that's thinking I'm never going to be able to buy one now that I missed the pre-order 😂

I managed to get 5 or 6 PS5s (and XSX but I cancelled those) during COVID. Sold them to friends at cost. If you just pay attention to certain sites/twitters/whatever you can usually get a pretty good plan for drops. I'd bet that it'll probably be scarce for the first couple weeks, then they'll be easier to get, then whenever the 90 day tariff pause ends it'll probably be a bit more challenging.

yeah, the tariff thing is a real wild card

Just was able to get the pro controller in my cart, but no luck with the Switch 2 itself as of yet. Both the Mario Kart bundle and the Switch 2 standalone just say Not Available if I can even get the page to load.

Hopefully it's not sold out already.

Same, I need to get back to work. I signed up on Nintendo's website as well so hopefully that will come through (I did see they said those might be delayed as well). I'm not in a huge rush either, I already have too many games I need to play.

The "Not Available" button just appeared in red to me instead of black on a refresh. Clicking the red not available button added the Switch 2 to my cart and I was able to checkout!
I managed to get one in my cart too and was checking out but then it gave me another bad gateway error and now it's out of stock. :(

Guess that's my sign to stop trying for real now. Glad yours went through!

it was a complete shit show here in the US as well.

Target was the only one that was working for me, but don't have the funds right now
Walmart ended up being the smoothest for us — got on the wait list right away and saw no obvious tech issues, just had to wait 45 minutes.

My partner had one in a cart via Target for a while but kept hitting nonsense errors at checkout. Eventually they wiped his cart just as Walmart moved me out of queue.

A coworker of mine in the Boston area tried his luck at his local GameStop in person. Needless to say, he did not get a Switch 2. The line was wrapped around the block and they had already given out numbers for all the Switches they have available for pre-order at that location.
