The party anthem for wild debauchery? After Hours ranked high on my year-end list, but the more I hear it, the more I love it. It will have some staying power over the years I think. The storyline started to click with me at some point around the holidays and it turned the whole thing into this engrossing dark cinematic whole for me. And that side C... is there a better record side released all year?

Yes! And that C side is amazing! I've enjoyed the album from day 1 but it's definitely grown on me too. Especially with him blurring the lines between himself and the character in his performances and interviews lately, it's really cool.

Oh, the banana is peeled!

It actually comes that way in the box. The banana sticker comes with it on a a separate sheet of paper meaning if you were so inclined you could peel it and place it on the jacket if you’d prefer but being as it’s a collector box set I doubt many people will go that route (I haven’t).

Yeah, sorry. I am did a bad job explaining. This box set the sticker comes with the set just never applied. So, if you want the banana peel on the record jacket, you have to apply it yourself...

Prince "Emancipation"
An amazing boxset I've been playing over the weekend and the days before. The 3 hours 1996 album was stretched on 6 purple vinyl records, beautifully done with outer and inner sleeves, sounds absolutely great, no surface sound at all without even needing to clean it.
