Something about seeing him open for Isbel and getting Heart Like A Levee from Bandbox set me over the edge with this Durham based Americana artist. I’m one record away from the full disco, having only had two albums at the beginning of the year. This deluxe version of his sophomore album was in the sweet Devotion: Songs about Rivers and Spirits and Children box.

Day 8 - Crazy Eights
Play a record by an artist you are crazy about.

Certainly an artist I'm crazy about with my vinyl collection.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Demos Vol. 1 & 2

31 releases in the collection, 1 in the mail, 1 pre-ordered. I need moar. And I spin these demos a lot.

Day 8: Crazy Eights

Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding

I've been a fan since I was 19 or so, but really in the last six or seven years Dylan has dominated my musical life. He's put out so many great albums over a career spanning six seven decades and had such a massive influence on American popular music, I think people will be celebrating and studying him still in 400 years the way we study and celebrate Shakespeare today. So here's his eighth album, pulled from this fantastic box set that I think everyone should own!

I have this boxset and agree wholeheartedly; it is indeed fantastic.

Day Eight - Crazy Eights

Pearl Jam ~ Pearl Jam

YOU WANT CRAZY EIGHTS? I'LL GIVE YOU CRAZY EIGHTS!!

I am crazy about Pearl Jam. Here I present their 8th studio album with the most beautiful song I have ever heard on it (Inside Job).
THAT'S NOT ALL! How about all 8 of the 8 tokens from Rummikub??!! I don't know if this counts for the board game yet, but I wanted to have some fun XD Yes some are slightly ajar and in no order to be crazy!
