Mr Bungle -
Disco Volante
I’ve fallen off from all things Patton music a long time ago, but a good deal on this came up recently - this still holds up!

The new TMR reissue of
Feedbacker sounds just ok, but I’ll take any reissue of
Feedbacker tbh. Also that Koln bootleg was pressed cleaner than most new records I’ve gotten all year

Pyroclasts
Black Editions are amazing just for their PSF Records reissues alone, and they went all the way to remix and remaster High Rise II, packaging it with a thick, textured cardboard sleeve and an extra tape of demos. This would hit you hard if you love Les Rallizes Denudes or noise/psych rock bands like Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Men, Destruction Unit, Tonsstartbandht.
Also Sunn O))) dominating 2019 is something I cherish ❤❤❤
Pyroclasts is different from
Life Metal and I appreciate both and Stephen O’Malley & Greg Anderson.

Sachiko Kanenobu -
Misora
Caved for that new Stereolab reissue when I first thought to wait for a good deal on the clear vinyl. All is good because this sounds amazing and I’m glad most of their classics are available again!
Kwaidan comes
highly recommended if you dig The Caretaker, Jan Jalinek, Ben Frost, or if you’re simply willing to stretch out from your ambient comfort zone. Ghostly and unnerving at times.
LITA gets all the stars for keeping up their reissue campaign of beloved 70s/80s Japanese records.
Misora is one I didn’t expect and it’ll warm up to you if you’re big on Vashti Bunyan or Linda Perhacs! Sachiko has a great story and LITA has packed more than enough reading content in its accompanying booklet to dig into.
