I remember trying out Black Milk's album from '18 and enjoying it, but wasn't into vinyl at the time. I forgot about the album until this year when I saw it in the discount bin for ~$16 sealed at a local. Nice to see it is on 2xLP 45RPM red vinyl, too!
Shafiq Husayn is a hip-hop artist and producer, and I would not have found out about this with MikeH's comments on Bandcamp day. Massive 16 track 2xLP on clear vinyl that features collaboration from the likes of Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Bilal, and Haitus Coyote to name a few. Soulful and yet hard-hitting.
So many amazing albums here. Gotta say—I’m SO glad you picked up that Shafiq Husayn album. I think it’s really slept on. He was part of Sa-Ra Creative Partners who are another group worth checking out. I came across them in a Late Night Tales comp and they are awesome. The members in Sa-Ra have produced songs for just about everybody in hip hop/r&b/neo-soul.

Where on earth did you find it?! Top of my wish list for years.
Discogs. I make offers on my bigger wantlist items from time to time. Usually after a couple cocktails. Sometimes they'll stick! This turned out wonderful as it's in excellent shape and confirmed to be the original UK pressing which the lowest for sale at the moment is about double what I paid

As I've said before, if you want deals you got to say you're saving money and then you feel the wrath of the deal gods. JPC sent me a 20% of anything coupon this time. Used it to pick up some stuff I've been waiting on a deal for:

A couple of Epic multi LP albums. Kamasi Washington's Heaven and Earth & Sarathy Korwar My East is Your West.

The direct to disc recording of Gary Bartz x Maisha plus DMB's Crash which people rave about the pressing.

All Of This Goes Too: American Soul Music 1955-1972
Television - Marquee Moon

This was a great day of arrivals. The Cairo comps are just fantastic, need to pick up 2 more of those. This Television album is an all time fave, glad I waited to pick up this 2LP blue version. Couldn't wait to clean it, and it sounds fantastic!

Ladies and Gentlemen, when Fallout influences your record purchasing

With songs from Fallout New Vegas:

And even songs from godawful Fallout 76:

I also have that Galaxy News Radio Selections record from Spacelab9 pre-ordered.

To all zero of you who care, here are some other songs I wish I could’ve found:

Fallout 4 - The Five Stars - Atom Bomb Baby:
This one was only pressed twice in the 50s and both are EXPENSIVE to purchase on discogs ($100-$150). This one hurts to have to let go :(

Fallout 76 - Kay Kyser - Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition
AND
Fallout New Vegas - Kay Kyser - Jingle Jangle Jingle:
I was trying to find some record where both of these songs are on it together and isn’t a giant box set... maybe like a compilation of his hits or something? The only one I found was this EP:
Can anyone find anything else for these two? I would love to have them.

Fallout 4 - Danny Kaye - Civilization (Bongo Bongo Bongo):
I cannot find a good condition record of this one for a decent price for the life of me. If anyone could find this one I’d be highly appreciative.

I also have my eyes on adding Blue Moon - Frank Sinatra, Ain’t That a Kick In The Head - Dean Martin, and Mr Sandman - The Chordettes, to my collection.

Ordered the deluxe 3LP Postal Service album from the Target Sale. It arrived today and I opened it to find...this...

Track list seems different to what I remember...? Sadly the album I ordered is out of stock now so can't get a new one...
My favourite album of all time 🙌 ❤ sorry for your loss but I cant be mad at this and I want the latest repress 🤷🏻‍♂️

My June VMP package finally has arrived.
It includes the El-P repress of "I'll sleep when you're dead", the Albert King RotM and Aretha Franklin's "Aretha now". 🙂 They look good from the outside, no damages as far as I can see. I'm looking forward to spin them.

I've also received Dua Lipa' s self titled first album on limited pink marbled vinyl. It was sold out for a while and when I've spotted it on jpc for about €17 I couldn't resist. 💜

Meanwhile I still haven't received my pink vinyl of "Future Nostalgia" odered from Mediamarkt and I doubt I ever will (I've chosen payment while picking up so I'll just wait if it ever arrives). Same for the Tom Misch vinyl. I think @BazookaTooth is very right with his comments about mediamarkt and saturn (two German retail stores). I think they work fine when records are available, but as soon as they are getting rare and need to be ordered, they mess up often.

Finally found a deal on one of these 9LP sets. The pressings sound fantastic.

@ranbalam and @POGunter - I think y'all are on to HP. Everyone else that isn't - you really should be.

Still amazed at how much soul fit inside little 5"5" Steve Marriott.

Wow, I haven't seen that yet. Glad to hear pressings are great....I'm going to have to look for this now. There's a Humble Pie RSD release in October, Bootlegs Vol 2, that I'm interested in too.
