New power cables for the turntable and amp (thanks to @HiFi Guy and @AnthonyI for the recommendation) and Beastie Boys from Amazon.de
Al Green from VinylDigital (split on the bottom of the sleeve)

I've got a few of those power cables myself, they're really nice. Also that Al Green does sound pretty spectacular too!

Well 10 emails into tonight and 2 articles about master tapes being destroyed and Dylan selling his masters he‘s decided he’s sending me the Dylan and is refunding me for the pet sounds
And now he's found a copy of the 45RPM mono Pet Sounds so I'm giving him the difference and getting that one!
Hopefully I'll have some vinyl from him soon...

I passed on it initially because i thought it'd be like the other Fat Possum Al Green releases but it's gotten some pretty positive feedback so decided to take the chance.

Yeah it’s absolutely not. On this one they’ve got it spot on. It’s not at the level of Call Me but it’s pushing in that direction, particularly compared to their other presses...

I wonder if he’s properly set up his cart to deduct VAT from the price, I’ve noticed that both Amazon and analogue deduction do now...

in all honesty if he gets a nice mofi that I can’t get elsewhere I might just get it sent to my dad and pick it up next time I’m over, I only order one or two things off him a year, gunna have to find somewhere new to get my Grado cartridges from!

I wonder if maybe it would be slightly cheaper to get it straight from Grado. You're thinking of the replacement cart that's 30%(?) cheaper?

Depends on the cost of sending it back, their postage costs and the duty. I might shoot Grado an email around April, I’m due a new one at the start of June.
