Bill Fox - Shelter From The Smoke
Bill Fox - Transit Byzantium
Kiwi Jr. - Cooler Returns
Beachwood Sparks - The Tarnished Gold
Urge Overkill - Saturation
The Jimi Hendrix Experience -

Electric Ladyland

Some mail orders landed over the past week. The Bill Fox albums were part of a Scat Reissue. I wasn’t super familiar with him but @Wes C. Attle suggested I give him a listen when I talking about an upcoming GBV reissue. He was right, I really enjoyed it and ended up ordering both of the reissues.

Kiwi Jr. were probably my favorite new band that I came across in 2020, their album Football Money was fantastic and thankfully their Sub Pop debut s more of the same.

I have been on a huge Beachwood Sparks kick since picking up the exquisitely done reissue of their debut record and decided I might as well complete the trifecta by grabbing their most recent album following their decade long hiatus and they pick up right where they left off. I thought aI was purchasing just the standard black pressing but it ended up being the Loser Edition which is a pleasant surprise. Also, it’s pressed at 45rpm and it sound wonderful.

The UO pick up was a bit random the label Porterhouse records still has their 25 anniversary reissue n stock on clear wax so I went for it

he Hendrix, well that has been the talk on a few threads on N&G recentlyI already had the other two Hendrix Family reissues and they are quite good so I figured I need to grab this one too.

Yes!!!! Another Starting Lineup:). @scotthilk

I might need to start a Starting Lineup Appreciation Thread
LOL! Oh yeah, There was a guy I used to work with that had a garage full of old still packaged Starting Lineup figures. He was selling off his collection and though all the really good ones (the Michael Jordan’s) had already been sold off. I was able to go through and grab a few. He was selling em for $3-$4 a pop which is what they went for back in the day so I picked up a few. I gave some away a gifts over the years but I still have a few of em.

I went and dug em out. Looks like I had...
Another Frank Thomas, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Mugsy Bouges, Jerry Rice, Ken Griffey Jr, Lawrence Taylor, and an Indiana State Larry Bird.

LOL, Those are Kid Robot. I prefer them to Funko Pops. I have some South Park, Futurama, and Simpsons ones too. They are usually sold in blind boxes new but you can find most of the common ones for a reasonable price on eBay.
That picture makes me want to go to my parents and dig out my box of Starting lineups sometime. I think I've got a Big Hurt in there as well. I also have that same Stay Puft Marshmallow man, lol.
