Such a vast difference over the United press of Pretty Hate Machine I found. It sounds alright but it's like comparing a Tone Poet to say Jazz Time.

I’m still shocked that it’s still in stock at VMP. It’s the type of exclusives that should fly off the shelves. KG cut, OOP and only available there and a really good vocal jazz album. They only had 500 copies despite the hype sticker incorrectly saying 1000

Yea it’s funny to see people complaining about not having actual exclusives or people asking for VMP vocal jazz albums while that gem is just sitting there for months! It’s the kind of exclusive I’ve wanted from VMP for a long time and was my last purchase before letting my membership lapse

The Claudia is a really nice and has a cool story behind it and the re-issue.

I usually enjoy drum/bass accompaniment, but her voice seems lovely, a bit like Chris Conner. May see if one of my VMP freinds can grab me a copy if they last. Tx to you both!

All y’all not shutting up about this Claudia Thompson record has caused me to give it another stream on Spotify. And yeah... it’s stunningly beautiful. Idk where my head was at the first time I gave it a listen, because I wasn’t feeling it a few months ago.

Bought it. This place is really bad for my wallet.

Exactly the same with me, it's one of the reasons I thought that VMP's release of 'Billie Holiday – Lady Sings The Blues' in December last year was such a great choice.

You may be on to something there! It definitely gave me a warm and cozy feeling.

Also we are moving into a house in January and I was imaging listening to it in our new home and it just felt right.
