Been contemplating a cull for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger. Took 24 records to my Local and turned them into 5...

Grabbed a couple of backburner albums (Moor Mother & DBT), a newish release and reissue (Nubya Garcia and Solaar) and my latest late discovery/mild obsession (The Holy Bible), which was the main thing I was hoping to walk away with.

Fresh grabs from our friends at @Plaid Room / Colemine . Always had that Darondo on my wantlist but never bought it, then it seemed out of print. Looks like there was a 2021 repress which is this one.

Built to Spill is a BoomBoom cut pressed at RTI. Seems to be the same plates as the earlier AAA Because Sound Matters pressing. It’s excellent! 2LP for under $25. Not too shabby.

It took a few weeks, along with a month delay before even shipping, but Bo Jackson finally got to me. I actually have two of these; an /750 2xLP blue variant that was quite spendy, and the standard limited black release.
Erika, Inoyama Land, and LUMP were all obtained from the Rough Trade sale from the past month. All nice additions, and the markdown to $13.50 on LUMP for colored LP + signed print was too convincing to ignore.

All three of these were also Rough Trade sale items. Glad to have another N&G RotM (Blume) after having ignored the selections as of recent. More ambient and avantgarde music with the Yann Tiersen + Yoshi Wada records; seeing that Julia Holter was "blown away" with Wada's music (RIP) fascinated me and was the only motivator necessary for me to give his music a try.

The Men I Trust album has taken over 2 months to arrive here, ordered via JPC. I expected them to cancel, so I'm very glad it finally did show up.

I've also won 3 vinyl records in a sweepstake done by Music Pool Berlin, all HHV exclusives I don't know.
