the best version of cortez, IMO. I like it more than Neil's.One that’s been on my list for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger after selling a couple. An All Timer for me!!!

An album from a sort of Irish trad supergroup featuring, amongst others, members of Lankum. Went in blind but is supposedly brilliant.

ØXN: CYRM review | Jude Rogers' folk album of the month
Featuring grisly trad tales, striking vocals, two members of Lankum and shades of PJ Harvey, this is a compelling record from Claddagh’s first signing for nearly two decadeswww.theguardian.com
I'm feeling some regret that I didn't pre-order that Acetone box. Two great pickups!Big ol’ box from @paladinvinyl @Ethos99 came! So excited to dig later tonight!View attachment 187454
Another box came too, a prize I won in a Facebook group. View attachment 187455View attachment 187456
Yeah, I was unfamiliar with them too until the box set was announced and while I couldn’t justify buying that giant box set I did pick up the first two albums today at my local. I might grab the other 2 at some point but they retail for $40 a pop so I hope maybe they hang around a bit and drop in price.I feel like I might need to check out Acetone, given that I'm wholly unfamiliar beyond all the love they've been getting around here.
