I am doing this as well when ever I canI've been expanding my "deluxe" CD collection lately. Here is Seas of Cheese in Blu-ray audio. Might be the best I've ever heard this album.

Cat Power - You Are Free
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
the Juliana Hatfield Three - Become What You Are
Low - The Exit Papers
The Cat Power is an original 2003 pressing. What I ordered was the 2009 pressing cut by Kevin Grey and pressed at RTI but the Discogs seller sent was this one after a partial refund I decided to keep this hope it still sounds decent. The YLT is the 2009 pressing and sounds fantastic. The Low and Juliana Hatfield 3 releases are new reissues. The JH3 album is signed by the band which is kinda cool.

Steve Reich - Music For 18 Musicians
MDC - Millions Of Dead Cops
Pixies - Bossanova
Meat Puppets - Out My Way
This stack is fun. My local had some good used stuff they were saving for the RSD BF and they a a 10% off sale (in Tacoma is basically slightly less than the tax rate) so since there wasn’t much that was officially released I kinda went hog wild on the used LPs. These are all original pressings and in great condition.

Silver Jews - Bright Flight
Nada Surf - High/Low
Father John Misty - Mahashmashana
Kim Deal - Nobody Loves You More
I came back through a second time to buy some new stuff while the Black Friday sale was going on and pick up the new Kim Deal and Fatter Dom Minty albums, the FJM album included a signed print of the cover art which was kinda cool. Apparently they had a listening party and received signed copies and apparently the party was not that big of a hit because over a week later and they still had 2 or 3 copies in stock.

Now, ai just gotta figure out where to hang it.
So I am not sure who is handling SY social at this point (perhaps Lee?) but they posted on Instagram a few months ago that they had listed a bunch of old dead stock concert posters on the band merch page so I picked it up there. It’s hand signed and numbered. Looks like they still have some of this particular one (plus a few other cool ones) still in stock currently.Nice, where did you get the poster?
this had been on my radar for awhile but cost and seemingly sold out...however I just picked this up sealed, but in the used bin at Disk Union for half the cost (no idea why it was on discount) and can say this is really incredible - the format seems strange from the normal square format (to mimic the cover ratio, obvs) but adding pics of the labels and a few notes is genius - this might be the new standard for album cover art books and id argue it goes beyond that AND the font is actually in a readable size!!! take note on that publishes...plus insane quality of product, if you can still find one definitely worth the cost of admission, just an incredible add to my collection of record cover books.Labyrinth: British Jazz On Record 1960-75 by Richard Morton Jack (Lansdowne Books, 2024)
Well, this is exciting. For a few years I have had the idea to collate all of my British jazz records into a book, but as I still have a few "big hitters" that I am after I decided to wait. However, during this time Richard Jack Morton decided to cut out the middleman by reaching out online to people who might have these rare records and collating these himself into his own book. It's an incredible tombstone-sized book that captures over 500 records, some reviews from the time of release, and a general overview. Funnily enough, I recently went on facebook messenger for the first time in years and saw an unread message from Richard asking for scans of my copy of Michael Garrick's "A Jazz Cantata". The first 100 orders of the book came with a fantastic bonus replica poster advertising Michael Garrick's "Cold Mountain".

I completely agree. Its one of those books that I've found myself skimming though countless times since I got it. As you said, the format makes everything super easy to read. I've got a few similar styled books that are much smaller and even though they show the rear covers of albums, the text isn't legible which seems to defeat the purpose really.this had been on my radar for awhile but cost and seemingly sold out...however I just picked this up sealed, but in the used bin at Disk Union for half the cost (no idea why it was on discount) and can say this is really incredible - the format seems strange from the normal square format (to mimic the cover ratio, obvs) but adding pics of the labels and a few notes is genius - this might be the new standard for album cover art books and id argue it goes beyond that AND the font is actually in a readable size!!! take note on that publishes...plus insane quality of product, if you can still find one definitely worth the cost of admission, just an incredible add to my collection of record cover books.
