It is! Was delayed by a week in Oz, so I only got it yesterday. A good package as usual from Mogwai, no complaints. Honestly, the demos sound good enough to have been released as the standard album.

I’m hoping it sounds good and looking at the info on cogs seems promising, Phillip Rodriguez cut it (the stuff I have by him includes some International Anthem and Jazz Dispensary), pressed at Furnace, and the back jacket says it was recorded to tape and mastered for hi fi. So we’ll see.

I believe the Rhino Reserves are the first things I will have heard from Fidelity.

I was surprised by how worked-up the demos were. The final album has a bit more polish but the demos are not far off…plus they come in at about 40 mins, which is about ideal album length for me. Would like Mogwai to do another ‘Rock Action’-style single LP.

I thought for sure this would get cancelled, but Movie Mars has this listed as "Like New" on Amazon for $60. Brand new copy in perfect shape just got delivered.

It was a nice day and super good prices. I think 2nd ave here in Portland might have the most consistent best prices in the country on new stuff, especially since we have no tax. $21 for Fontaines, $24 for Gits and Yo La. Mississippi had that Yo La Soundtrack for $16. The Genius + Love was $10 more at the place I got Squid. Only grabbed the Squid at that place because the other two didn't have it and I wanted it today.

But yes, it was a nice little outing today! Now to meet some friends for a burger and beer
