I stumbled across the Silkworm LPs on eBay. The seller had both original presses listed for $90 but took my offer of $80 which was a solid deal. I know a reissue of Firewater is imminent but I figured for roughly $40, I would be happy with the OG.

I went to my local over my lunch to pick up the new Men record and while I was there grabbed one of the few studio albums I still hadn’t added my collection.

@Panera Ciabatta Diapers is a real one! My hip hop nerd ass reached out regarding some hard to find hip hop gem albums they're selling. We discussed records I was interested in (top row), and price.

I asked to remove a hip hop classic from the set for a price in my budget, they agreed on everything. Then, this absolute LEGEND included The muhhfuckin' Cold Vein as a surprise bonus record! (in a box built for the rigors of Ace Ventura'd USPS I'll add.)

I was having a rare perfect Saturday afternoon, ignoring the dumpster fire of a world, with my favorite person and this was a cherry on top of the sundae, er Saturday.

I've purchased far fewer records than usual as of late. I'm a mailman and with trump in office, I'm not sure how much longer I'll have a job.
Anyway, so the few I've bought lately are ones slightly more expensive than I usually go for. But always wanted. (Got Marley "Talkin Blues" a couple months ago)
This is an important album for me, it came out 30 years ago this May. Back then, I was new to Bob Marley and I bought this CD the day it came out. Now Bob is my favorite singer and it was this album that lead me to albums like "Rastaman Vibration" and "Survival". Glad a finally got it on vinyl. It's not a big waste for songs I have elsewhere, this has remixes of "Iron Lion Zion" and "Keep On Moving" that were massive hits in Europe, an extended version on "Crazy Baldheads" and the single edit of "Roots Rock Reggae", so it's nice have them.
It costed me $63.
