Update on the Wes Freed book - Deep Groove is only offering local pickup now, and pointing others to Wes Freeds site: The Art of Wes Freed: Paintings, Posters, Pin-ups and Possums

They told me about an hour and a half ago that they're not selling it anymore and to go to the site. Bummer because I'll be in the area this weekend and would have traded records for the book

So I will tell you from experience that Deep Groove doesn't give more dollar value for store credit (Plan 9 in Richmond does). Their prices are fair, when I've sold stuff to them its usually between 1/3 and 1/2 of Discogs and they usually sell used records for slightly under the median (however, I don't know if they actually base anything off of Discogs or what they think they can sell it for).

Great shop. Easy and fair. Got a hat, the book, and The Dirty South. I haven't bought any DBT stuff so perfect store to do that

The more I think about it, I might have ordered this. How long ago did this come out? Right before his death? Either way I’m not worried. Always had great dealings buying from him.

Hmmm? I emailed, I guess I’ll find out. I feel like I looked into this a while back and must have blown it off or forgot about it again. I was buying so many records and music related stuff then, and I’m sure it was even more crazy for them.
