ha ha ha .. that's exactly what happened, except I didn't find him. his boy pointed me out and he came up to me and was like "what are you drinking?". I definitely showed him love and was saying how iconic that Flygod art is, but I wish I paid attention to his shit more beforehand because I would have given him extra props on all the other pieces he did that are dope.

Btw anyone else feel like Lupe bodied Royce in those tracks @wingclipper posted? Lupe really said I wish they left Biz and took you. Maybe went a little too hard but Royce did say he'd shoot Lupe's son in his track so... Disappointed Royce tapped out but I don't know how he could've possibly responded to Lupe's, he got dismantled on so many levels.

@blenxosmith I’d heard the drop was a UK region-locked release and that a wider release for international customers would follow; nothing more concrete than that though!

I don't have the vinyl but I need to listen to the Boldface EP again. the few times I listened to it I just wasn't really digging it enough to buy it, but everything since has been consistently great, so maybe I'm just wrong about Boldface

Is dave the best artist outta UK?
Dont really fk with UK all that much besides Slowthai but I think Dave is generally a better artist.
So much real emotion in his work. Always impressed with him.
Any other UK artist I might be missing besides Bob Vylan and the ones mentioned ^

I think if you like Dave and Slowthai, Pa Salieu would be your thing too. He does UK Hip Hop fairly similarly to them but incorporates a bit more Afrobeat and UK Drill which are very popular among contemporary UK Artists
I’m also a big fan of J Hus and Nines, both of their recent albums are very good imo

Check out Lee Scott and the Blah Records output, dope as fuck. Black Josh is probably my favourite off their label but they all real nice hip hop, also Cult Mountain collabs and... ah it's all fire.
Sonnyjim is also dope IMO but has started doing Action Bronson posh food style rap. Cappo all day, Jehst all day, Chester P all day for old school.
