I think we all owe DaBaby a favor for mainstreaming what we already knew, that homophobia and misogyny runs rampant in hip hop. I used to think that it was part of the aesthetic and dudes didn't really believe what they were spittin' to a certain extent (just doing it to fit into the culture), but I think the fans are becoming as toxic as the artists at this point.
