Hip Hop

hmmmm. I don't recall, I have both and can check at some point. I tend to listen to the standard over the deluxe to be honest. I wonder if the digital versions have the same thing if true.

thanks bro I’d really appreciate it. I checked the digital versions and the deluxe doesn’t cut off tracks abruptly.

This is such an utter BS explanation. I hate when artists do this nonsense. He can pretend they are, but they really aren't. The streaming release had both of them on there and didn't even list them as bonus (which I still say is part of the album even if they call it out but that's a diff argument).

And if First 48 is just a bonus ilwhy is it listed on all the tees and on every vinyl variant? Seems pretty clear they just used Drug Zone as another way to profit off another craft single /45. Otherwise it should have just been released on its own like every other one.

Drug Zone was always marketed as a bonus song (look at alchemist's 2 insta posts and the youtube video description) and was never listed on the tracklist anytime the tracklist for the LP was posted. I don't remember seeing anything about 48 Freestyle being a bonus cut though. The least they could've done though was release the craft single on the side in addition to bundling it

That's fine, I don't follow the marketing of albums very much so can't comment how it was told. But even still, if you include it in the packaging to the masses, it's part of the album imo. The only way to listen to the album Bo Jackson currently includes both of those tracks, including the official digital album from his site (which still doesn't list them as a bonus track).

Looking at the tracklist post seems like they changed the title of the first 48 Freestyle too. Interesting 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lolz at anyone who actually listens to vinyls and doesn't just flex on IG and reddit or pay an expensive frame shop to mount them for wallz.

just finished the standard tracks of TPOTIC Deluxe and I didn't notice any difference in the length/ending of songs between it and the standard version. maybe it's the Deluxe tracks on vinyl vs the Deluxe tracks on streaming where there is a difference? otherwise there is no difference or it's completely negligible.

I read on discogs that tracks are cut short and end abruptly on the deluxe version of TPOTIC versus the regular version. Can anyone confirm this? I have the deluxe vinyl but have only listened to the regular version.
So you have me another reason to listen to this album which is great.

I didn't notice anything tbh. The only thing that sounded a little odd was the transition from S.N.O.R.T. to Grey October since those 2 songs basically flow right into each other but S.N.O.R.T. is the end of one side and Grey October is the start to the next disc so it sounds weird. But nothing major.

Also it sounded like Pots & Pans may have cut a bit closer to the end of the vocals than the streaming release but that wouldn't be on the standard.

So I didn't really notice anything when listening 🤷🏻‍♂️

damn. that is lame.

idk if anyone collects 9x12s but g2futuristic on IG has some dope Mach ones and stickers

CEP stepped up the print size. He initially did this 18x24 size for the yellow and "purple reign" Flygod variants to match the size of the red DGSN variant he'd recently dropped before them, even though the original FLygod and DGSN prints were something like 11x14, along with just about ever other print in between. Those last Flygods were $187 with the OBI prints being at least $200.

BTW, I don't just buy this shit to buy shit. He really should be prioritizing those of us that actually throw them on the turntable and listen to our prints. A true connoisseur can hear the museum quality cotton rag paper.

thanks y’all. I’m glad that was cleared up. It seemed odd to me but obviously that guy on discogs didn’t know what he was talking about.

agreed, this is the only instance where maybe something is up, I meant to note that earlier, but even so I don't think anything was cut down with the deluxe as it plays out on the standard.
