There's no 2lp out there, and the 1lp is about an hour squeezed onto one disc. Would be very easy to improve on thatI was so sure that I was going to get that VMP 2xLP of 36 Chambers as it's one my all-time favorite albums, but with the Bo Jackson drop tomorrow I need to rethink my spending.
I haven't heard anything about the VMP 36 Chambers in terms of improvement in sound in any way, does anyone know if there is supposed to be any upgrade in the sound with their 2LP pressing or is it just a 2LP of what's already out there?

I understand that, but 36 Chamber's is notorious for not having great sound quality due to being mastered from a 4-track or something like that. I understand that stretching it out over 2 discs would make it louder and maybe more dynamic....but you know the saying garbage in, garbage out. There's no 2lp out there, and the 1lp is about an hour squeezed onto one disc. not saying it's a garbage album, it's not. it just never sounded great, so wondering how much better this 2LP may sound.
yeah, I saw that...definitely different credits than the Newbury version I have: Wu-Tang Clan – Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (2014, Yellow & Black Swirl, Vinyl)View attachment 110021Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Wu-Tang Clan's landmark 'Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)' is the VMP Essentials Record of the Month for September 2021. It's here on Gold Galaxy vinyl, on 2LP for the first time.www.vinylmeplease.com
Not sure what's available now

Sure, that's a different case then. Looks like Grint mastered Ready to Die, ATLiens, Demon Days, and Spiritualized, so clearly he knows what he is doing, and maybe they are ripping from the cassette anyway idkI understand that, but 36 Chamber's is notorious for not having great sound quality due to being mastered from a 4-track or something like that.
