I know I said earlier that I'd rank MM&tBS at the top but letting the hype calm down a bit I agree with this ranking NOW, but I think it'll still creep up there at least above GK,MC given some time. That's the right order, yes.
Forgot about this one...Also, does anyone else think he might have just announced his retirment via Mirror. "I chose me, I'm sorry".

Probably could be in reference that this is his last TDE album. Can't see him calling it quits before dropping an album on pgLang.
I should be a month into living back in Toronto by time he rolls around. Can't say I'm not seriously tempted.
Saw him on the MAAD city tour, the King Kunta's Groove Sessions, Okeechobee, and the TDE Championship tour. He puts on a great, great show, def recommend if you haven't seen him yetI should be a month into living back in Toronto by time he rolls around. Can't say I'm not seriously tempted.
He's the last on my list of still touring artists I've yet to see. Timing never worked out for me.Saw him on the MAAD city tour, the King Kunta's Groove Sessions, Okeechobee, and the TDE Championship tour. He puts on a great, great show, def recommend if you haven't seen him yet
A little different:1. TPAB
2. GK,MC
3. MM&tBS
4. Section.80
5. DAMN

TPAB is the better "album" but Good Kid has better individual tracks. Then if I'm looking for just straight heat I'll look to DAMN. This new one feels like a grower in the way that TPAB was. Section.80 has one of my favorite tracks by him though (ADHD)A little different:
1. GK, MC. 10/10
2. DAMN. 9.5/10
3. TPAB. 9.5/10
4. MM&tBS. 8/10
5. Section.80. 8/10
Non Kendrick related but anyone care to offer an opinion on how "Call Me if You Get Lost" sounds? Have it on order, just have to pick it up. I actually avoided listening to the full album until I could get it on vinyl for some strange reason.
Amazing. Just remembered my TT is also in storage because we had our house staged and apparently a turntable would ruin the image of our house, so have a hefty backlog too.It sounds great. Had no issue with my copy
This! That song is long overdue in the culture. That song alone may singlehandedly change the trajectory for that community in hip hop. So powerful and kudos to him for tackling the topic so bluntly and honestly. How many pro LGBT songs are out there in rap? Like, I think I can count them on one hand. Auntie Diaries also
Man, using early Tyler as an example - it's really hard to listen to using homophobic slurs - even now that he's sort of, kind of but not really kind of come out. This! Do y'all not rate untitled unmastered? Kinda like that one better than DAMN although I haven't listened to either in a while.TPAB is the better "album" but Good Kid has better individual tracks. I rate it as a B-side album.Do y'all not rate untitled unmastered? Kinda like that one better than DAMN although I haven't listened to either in a while.
Definitely enjoy untitled unmastered, though I forget about it sometimes. You're right though I'd probably play it before DAMN.Do y'all not rate untitled unmastered? Kinda like that one better than DAMN although I haven't listened to either in a while.
New album too early for me to say exactly where I stand but having trouble imagining myself growing to love moments like Die Hard so doubting I will put it at the top. Some of the contradictory stuff others have pointed out, like featuring Kodak so prominently does sit weird with me as well.
Definitely impressive and worth more of my time and consideration, just having a hard time imagining wanting to run it back over and over, if that makes any sense.
