If you don't mind me asking and this might be a dumb question but what light are you using and where do you have it placed on your player? I have the same record player and platter and would love to do this to mine it looks great

I got the controller in a single pack, unfortunately they seem to only have a 3 pack in the same one. I'll see if I can find a single one again. The power adapter is 5V6A since it's just a 3 pin LED setup. I went with the 30W one, which is probably overkill, but alas. The LED ring is the PERFECT size to just be wider than the sub platter, and then I just used black electrical tape to make sure the wires aren't really visible. Get the 60 LED ring. The cool thing about the ring is that every LED is individually addressable so you can do all kinds of effects if you want. The controller uses the Magic Home LED app which gives you all kinds of options to play around with. You can see how it all fits together in the pic I attached. I was kind of worried that there would be electrical interference with where I ran the wires since they are really close to the motor, but there was zero effect other than pretty lights. And the ring is thin enough that it fits under the belt at both 33 and 45 speeds in case you have an older carbon that requires the manual belt switching like I do.

That last link should be the correct controller in the quantity of 1.
