I’m probably late to this, but A Long Red Hot Los Angeles Summer Night came out towards the beginning of the year, and it’s a really solid album. It’s by Blu and Oh No (Madlib’s brother).

Absolutely love this album! It’s got so much character and originality and it’s such a hip-hop album. It’s got so much flavour! It’s definitely one of the best hip-hop albums of the year for me! It’s a comeback album for Blu! In some ways, I prefer this over Blu & Exile’s Below The Heavens!!!

But yeah, for me, Cherry Bomb and The Big Day are mediocre albums, with the latter being completely forgettable for me and an album I can never imagine me returning to.

Cherry Bomb is an album I don’t like but there are some tracks I like and the aesthetic of the album is interesting and I can imagine the album maybe growing on me in the future if I revisit it.

I can’t believe Chance The Rapper has an album much worse than Britney Spears worst album
