Not sure if this has been shared yet, but a few weeks ago I had an email from Universal to say that due to the debacle with the J Cole KOD signed album (the incredibly long delays) they were giving out free special edition vinyl copies (pink vinyl with alternative cover art) to people that responded, even those people, like me, that cancelled and gained a full refund. Well, my copy arrived today. A very unexpected (I didn't actually think they would send it) surprise.

Dont you kinda still get screwed? Wasnt the KODs suppose to be signed.

Yeah basically they say that they have now got signed copied to everyone that ordered and stuck with it, but on top of that they have shipped out these copies to everyone regardless of whether you had a refund or not. Actually really good of them to do this, I hadn't even thought of the album for a couple of years until they messaged me.

It blows my mind how long people waited for that release.
I actually "prebought" one of them special releases being sent out to you guys lol wonder when my pink variant will show up
