Yeah no worries, this here is the original email (screenshot if thats ok as it has my details at the top) and it was from jcole@umgstores.com

The interesting bit is the last sentence of the first paragraph, which states even if you cancelled you will be getting a record.

Edit: Also, I had moved during this period yet the initial shipping info I had stated my old address, I contacted them to say I had moved and that I stated my new address in the original reply to the first email and when it arrived they had pasted my new address over the old, so they were very flexible.

I might be wrong but this kinda reads like it was offered to anyone who either did not receive their order due to shipping and handling errors or those who cancelled because of delays, did people who waited it out and received their records also get offered this?

Good point the reason I assumed it was everyone was because I saw a guy on Instagram post his alternative cover copy alongside his signed copy. I assumed that means everyone got a copy but I might be wrong.

Either is possible to be fair, anyway after that signed pre order debacle who even trusts them to send this new record to everyone they intend to :LOL:

Yea I mean I got what I paid for. Yea it took over a year, and yea I wish I got the email offering me a free album for being so patient but oh well. I'm just happy they hooked up the folks like my friend who waited a year to cancel then another 3 weeks for the actual refund. By that time I had just gotten an update saying the signed copies are on the way to the warehouse the 2nd time for shipping

I definitely didn't get this email offer after receiving my signed copy but I also was on them every 2 months since the original truck got in the accident with the signed jackets so they probably blacklisted me

Limited "Sire Edition" edition vinyl of MF Doom & Madlib's 2004 classic, created exclusively for Stones Throw, Concerto Recordstore (Amsterdam), and Rough Trade (London, NYC).

So all you US fellows should be able to buy a copy directly from Stones Throw or Rough Trade NYC. ;)

Additionally, Platomania is getting 400 copies and we still don't know if Rough Trade UK is getting 1000 copies or if it's 1000 copies in total...
But I highly doubt that Platomania is getting 40% of the copies - so there'll probably be a lot more than 1k presses.
