Hip Hop

Yeah, I'd be surprised to learn that >50% of the people buying the Hard Lemonade vinyl weren't flippers.

To be fair. Mach vinyl is always sold out and Mach vinyl is hardly ever resold to be honest. I have seen maybe 5 splatter copies of WKJ sold on cogs and maybe 4 pic discs. This could be different this time, but WKJ was $187 and the pic disc was $300 and u can hardly find them resale. Same with Tuez Les Tous (despite having different versions) and Kill Em All. It's hard to find them at all not to mention without being wayyyy over priced

JK Kill Em all has 3 copies for sale, but that is surprising and rare

It’s already been said better, but I do want to clarify that I mean no disrespect to anyone here who bought that Mach Hommy album. I’m not calling you guys rich kids or suckers. I know there are people buying these items strictly for the love of said item, and I am all for that. If that second stimulus check comes I know I’m going blow that shit on overpriced records 😂

That's surprising. I wonder what makes that different from the other artists that sell out fast lately.

I genuinely believe that is has something to do with the pricing structure. I'm sure this will generate eye rolls, but the numbers don't lie everything sells out but it's hard to find resale. I really think it has to do with the fact that his fans in the few corners of the web buy them for super high and cherish them for that reason.

also, he only presses 750 at the most and that was Tuez Les Tous

this one has 450, Kill Em All was 500, Tuez was the most cuz Fatbeats did the extra 150 copies. WKJ was 300 splatter and 200 pic discs

EDIT: I forgot SNL the EP but Nature Sounds did that and it's only 30 bucks so there r alot of those floating around,
Bulletproof Luh may have had a little more copies pressed, but that sat on Bad Taste Bandcamp for 2 years and most didn't know it existed. However that has been removed by Mach as of last week

You may be right about pricier releases. I still think that an artist can achieve that with a larger pressing at a reasonable price and then a special edition at a higher price, like billy woods does, instead of this madness.

I'm not sure why more flippers seem to flock to daupe, DRW, Alc releases instead.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I think it's stupid. When I first got on the forum I used to laugh at the Griselda prices then quickly found my self joining that crew. Not too long after that I got to Mach hommy level of crazy and have always said I don't know why Mach doesn't press two thousand and sell them for $50 a piece. But until he tries to do a large press and it succeeds I think that he'll stay 750 or less at higher prices because it seems like we are a cult of trained monkeys at this point
