Hip Hop

There's a lot of songs I like on the albums since but that
Venice>Malibu>Yes Lawd! run.
is his best for me too. Venice is my favorite album of his.

I also love Cover Art, his album of cover songs.

During the 1950's there were a slue of " white " artists and bands who made a pretty lucrative career out of remaking songs from " black " blues and r&b acts, most of which maintaining the same musical blueprints as the originals. These records were more commonly know as " Race Records " the pre cursor to what would later be known as " Rock and Roll ". Taking songs that at one point were only known to a certain demographic of people and catapulting them on to the airwaves thus exposing them to the " popular " audience ( white suburbia!!! ). Unfortunately the original writers hardly ever received credit and or were ever properly compensated for their songs :(

Anderson .Paak delivers a simular process but as in reverse homage. Taking rock and folk classics from your favorite stringy haired singers and bands like The Beatles, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs,The White Stripes, Toto and even Neil Young. Completely reworking and extracting every bit of soul, jazz, hip-hop and even electronic funk and r&b?. Who would of known??!!

New EP or album?
yeah, it's going to be an EP:

Following up last November’s Tana Talk 3 LP, Griselda Records lyricist Benny the Butcher is introducing his next studio project by debuting its lead single with Pusha T, “18 Wheeler.” Produced by DJ Shay, “18 Wheeler” is one of six new songs featured on Benny’s forthcoming The Plugs I MetEP and serves as our first taste of that release, which will also feature collaborations with Jadakiss, Conway, RJ Payne, Alchemist, 38 Spesh and Daringer. As you can probably tell just by reading the name of Benny’s latest record and the artists involved, this track is the 2019 theme song for road-running narcotics traffickers everywhere.

okay..I might have to hold off on Tha God Fahim. I'm not familiar with the label though. Is this going to cost me $60?

Not at all. They don’t sell directly to customers. They sell to retailers. They’ve only released one record so far by Shawty Pimp. It was less than $30 after shipping. Of course it depends what retailer you get it from but it should be reasonably priced.

I don't have my collection in Discogs so it would have to be a guess.. nathan too crazy as I sell most of my records when they get up that high.. but probably a grip in the 200-300$ range I guess?

half of the fun of having a vinyl collection is putting it on discogs xD

I use discogs "randomizer" to tell me which album to play ALOT more then I expected aswell.

But if your telling me one day you might sell me a 400$ record for 50$ because u dont care about price then you be you hahah

How do yall feel bout 10 resellers instantly selling this when hundreds (potentially thousands) of people who actually wanted it wait around desperately for VMP to press more?
Supply and demand. If anyone’s to blame its VMP
