I can't and won't disagree with any of that. It's a brutal situation that De La is in, and should they get their rights back, I am 100% buying all their records from them directly to give them the revenue they are long over due in receiving. I definitely have mixed emotions about Tommy Boy profiting off of this once again, but man I want new versions of both of those records. Industry Rule #4080.

Yeah, I hear you. Plus, I have all 3 VMP titles, so it's really easy for me to not order these; I'm just lucky enough not to have to be conflicted with this one, like I have been in the past. The VMP De La Soul Is Dead drop was such a fiasco with it being unannounced and then warped copies going out, no replacements offered and people being stiffed on shipments. Like I said, I don't blame anyone who orders these, but if I'm wishing for something, I'm wishing for De La to get the rights rather than VMP to press anything.

I'm in the same boat having that '89 3 Feet OG press but no DLSID... Debating whether I should upgrade to a newer 3 Feet or if I should just roll with the OG, which I never thought sounded as bad as everyone said

OK wow this was an adventure. I tried searching popmarket (I thought at least) for War Report but didn't see it so ordered it from Bullmoose and DLSID from Pop with the 10% discount code for new.

Jumped back for the cheaper price but realized I needed a new account to use the discount again so used a different email. Well by habit I used my regular email when checking it out so I got the discount but it overwrote my old account somehow lol. So now I have no account in my regular email to see the order but it does come up in the single order search 🤷‍♂️

So I think I now have them both ordered? lol

I definitely am happy with how it sounds too. I just want to be able to retire it and have that copy as a collector's item and spin the new copy. Plus the couple bonus B side tracks on the new copy will be nice to have.

Amazing. I tried creating the old account again to see if that brought the old order in but no dice. I'm just going to let this roll and pray it works.

On another note my Makaveli record came in from the Death Row store. No surprise in the cheapest mailer I've seen in awhile but works been a lol crazy so haven't gotten to it. I remember someone asked me about if it was any different than the old presses so I'll have to do discogs checking on that

I figure I have an email confirmation and it shows up in their single order system so I suspect we have nothing to worry about. We definitely can't be the first people to do that and popmarket is a big enough site to sort all these kind of incidents out.

So I got weird emails saying I had stuff in my cart. I checked my two orders again and only one of them is showing for me now. But I still have the charge for both
