Unfortunately, I have zero drive to dive down said rabbit hole with him. Idk why either.. I've known about him forever, too. Just never had the inclination to jump into his music. Maybe some day.

if you ever do, I would say strapping young lad or the early solo dev stuff (punky brewster, terria, ocean machine) to be a good starting point (SYL is more metal, btw)
