Also do the Capitol reissues of the singles sound any good, or would I be better off getting the originals?

I have to thank @Crabbers for inspiring me to look for another copy of In Rainbows box set.

I had bought a copy a couple of years back on eBay which was less than stellar and I’d been full of regret ever since. It had some pops in some of my favourite tracks that wouldn’t come out after multiple cleans and the vinyl looks like it’s smeared which I’d never really encountered before. If anyone can tell me just what in the fuck happened to my old copy, in the picture below, well, that’d be super.

Anywang. A new copy arrived today from Greece and it sounds freaking amazing on the Ultradeck. Cosmetically, the packaging looks better too.

No I didn’t. If you zoom in picture you can see it’s like it’s the top layer of vinyl been eaten away. I’m guessing they put some heavy duty cleaner on it or an issue at pressing.

My copy should be arriving back from @AnthonyI tomorrow, but he even said it had some swooshing in it🤬

Looks like i have a decision to make soon

I noticed this same effect on @Crabbers records as well, not as severe, but it's almost like a messed up lacquer. I don't know how much it effects the sound I didn't get too much into the album while I was working on them. The whooshing though :mad:

For reference, does anyone remember the original list price of the OKNOTOK box? Starting to feel tempted to pick it up..
