I’m not sure if the Fortes are a bad match for the Manley or what- but I was able to spend a couple of months with a Stingray II years ago and always kicked myself for not buying it. I wasn’t getting the sound I remember with the Fortes- not even close. The CVs are a much better match- specs be damned. Sensitivity isn’t everything.Nice color match with the console.
Although it's kinda odd seeing your system with speakers of that size!
I have a somewhat small listening area.....always felt that standmounts just work better in areas under 300-400 sq feet. My Model Threes are about as big as I'd wanna go.
soooooo lemme know when you’re planning to move the Fortes.I’m not sure if the Fortes are a bad match for the Manley or what- but I was able to spend a couple of months with a Stingray II years ago and always kicked myself for not buying it. The CVs look a bit wierd to me too size wise because the smallest speakers I’ve used in the last 35 years were the Lintons. On the other hand, my living room feels much larger.
