Would Arsenal consider sacking Arteta?
I know they have injuries, just a question.
The FA Cup he won in his very first season is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the argument for him staying in the role. I think his job is 99% safe, but objectively looking at what Arsenal plan to achieve under him he's not done well. Pushing on from title challengers to actually winning it was the goal. If Forest or City pip them to "3rd in a 2 horse race" I think a small portion of the Arsenal fanbase might ask that question. But I think he's done well all things considered even if he hasn't "won anything". The problem that not winning things brings is players like Saka, Odegaard, Saliba, etc start thinking, I need to leave in order to win things which is not a good situation for a club to deal with. Trust me, I know from experience.

I think you’d have to say that barring a non champions league finish he has to be safe in his job for the foreseeable. He’s taken them from being a bit of a joke to being a really tough solid top team. That last step is by far and away the hardest and I don’t know whose out there that they get that has a better chance than him of making it given it’s his team and squad. He was let down in January in respect of getting in a striker.

That result was so frustrating, felt there for the taking all game but took Spurs an hour to wake up. Then they had like a dozen chances, at least one of which should have been a goal. Feels like at minimum the work was there for a point, but just one of those learning lessons for the kids that you gotta be up for it from go
