Is it coming home?
Yup. England might have worked out tournament football this time…Comprehensive victory for England at the weekend, they look to be hitting their stride at the right time and it sets up a very winnable semi with the Danes.
Thanks - I am surprised to be doing this well to be honest! I'm about to become a Dad (t-minus 4 weeks and counting) so I've got baby brain and am more than a little distracted at the moment. I picked my team and then forgot to change throughout the group stages and round of 16. Had to make 13 changes before the QFs so I played my wildcard. My only regret is that my choices on Paddy Power have not been as successful as my fantasy teamwhat a wild match so far!!!!
I will never captain the right player but oh well!
@mutem you got it man congrats on beating everyone silly I thought I had a a lil comeback working after those last 2 goals....checked ur squad...Nope lol u got it!
At this point I'd love to see Denmark win it all, and that's not just because of the ABE rule. But let's be 100% honest here - England have had an extremely comfortable tournament. They haven't travelled other than for the QF in Rome and lucked out with an extremely favourable draw in the knockout stages. Ukraine were awful - that was a glorified pub team masquerading as a serious competitor. England did well to smash them, but the defending (particularly on set pieces) was amateur. Not to mention the semis & final are both at Wembley. Even if they beat Denmark, which is likely, I doubt their ability to cope with Italy or Spain. I mean FFS they couldn't even beat Scotland at home . Is this wishful thinking from an embittered Scot? Absofuckinlutely.Yup. England might have worked out tournament football this time…
but most of the time that`s how you win these tournaments . have a decently enough team and hope that enough things fall for you. t´s been a while since things fell together in Englands favour so i´ll be Ok with it happening this time.England have had an extremely comfortable tournament.
