For all their energy I real fear for Southampton this year. They’ve lost two of their three best players and only replaced one with a prospect from the championship. They could do with a few reinforcements before the end of August!

Armstrong looked decent but a couple of their other additions have been a few loans only. They need some quality instead of hand me downs from other PL clubs otherwise it could be rough goings when injuries hit them. Too bad because I think Hassenhuttl is a good manager, just doesn’t have the right personnel or depth to keep the intensity.
