It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Really glad a scrappy underdog club like City can scratch together enough money to pull a deal like this.

It'll be interesting to see if they can stabilize his health. He has missed a third if this season and a quarter if the season before due to injuries. it's good for Dortmund to sell him because they simply cannot afford a decent back up for such a central player and that hurt them this season

Also ouch! The old release a pic in the new kit before you’ve signed fuck up, as pioneered by Paul Ince. That always goes down well…

I hope he’s every bit as successful at city as his dad was…

Anyone who caveats facts by “Premier League only” Is immediately wrong and invalid. FOOTBALL EXISTED BEFORE 1992 🤪
Nah I was born in 1992. Therefore this too is NOT VALID!!!!

Only acceptable answers: The Invicibles, Arsenal, Gunners, Gooners, or Bergkamp and Henry's gang of winners :ROFLMAO:

That is a neat stat! I mean I know there point total of 90 has been beaten many times over by now...wouldn't surprise me. 12 draws is alot

It turns out it’s not even right, our treble winners drew one more game…

Edit: in a 38 game season, there were obs more back pre 95/96 with the 42 game seasons.

Radom Liverpool fact. Anfield was originally Everton’s ground and they won their first league title there. They felt the landlord’s were taking the piss with the rent and built Goodison for themselves. The landlords were left with an empty stadium and set up Liverpool to make use of it!
