It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Also the only team ever to be relegated in March lol

imagine being a fan and getting ready for your season in the top flight only to win 1 time lol the whole season. I bet the 8 draws were exciting as hell for them haha

@Joe Mac will know this…was this the team that got the halftime “talk” on the field by the goal near their supporters. And later Wasn’t there a goal celebration where some players mocked it by recreating it? I’m not sure if it was the same team for both situations.

Hull City both times.

They were getting hammered at half time away against city and so it was gimmick by the manager to shock them into a reaction. Failed.

A year later same match Hull scored and their midfielder Jimmy Bullard re enacted it as a goal celebration.

Jimmy Bullard…man he is the best! I wish I could go fishing with him.

Spurs have won 2 out of 16 matches that Paul Tierney has been in charge of

Holding had 3 yellow cards IMO, deserved sending off.
The penalty was bullshit. So was the first yellow. It was a simple booking. The elbow could've been a straight red....but either way the whole thing started from a bs penalty that lead to 1-0 and momentum for Spurs. Nonetheless it still is Arsenal's spot to lose so I can't be too upset over this

It was a really soft penalty but I suppose there was contact so VAR isn’t going to get involved. But yeah straight red regardless of it being a second yellow for me tbh.
