They were getting hammered at half time away against city and so it was gimmick by the manager to shock them into a reaction. Failed.

A year later same match Hull scored and their midfielder Jimmy Bullard re enacted it as a goal celebration.

The elbow could've been a straight red....but either way the whole thing started from a bs penalty that lead to 1-0 and momentum for Spurs. It was a really soft penalty but I suppose there was contact so VAR isn’t going to get involved. But yeah straight red regardless of it being a second yellow for me tbh.
