I HOPE Matt Turner from the US team does wonders in the europa matches he is asked to start in. I really think he could be great one day

Yeah but if Partey wasn’t boring he’d not be doing his job. His job is to be really boring to allow everyone else to play. Zinchencho isn’t that player. I can’t say I’ve seen Viera play to pass comment but the premier league is a big step up from Portugal physically, especially in the engine room.

Yea fair enough. We'll see with the new formation if he continues to fit in at center mid. I want nothing but the best for the team. I guess we will find out soon enough LOL

I think you’ll continue to evolve and be a better team that last year regardless of what happens. Arteta is a really good manager. I just think you’ve a great first 11 but the shallowest squad of the 6.

Spurs have bought very well but city and Liverpool are just too far clear. Us and Chelsea are such unknowns. It could really go either way quite spectacularly.

Apparently Newcastle has made two offers on Maddison and Leicester has refused them. Not sure if they don’t want Saudi money or if they are going to sell him, they’d like him to go somewhere else.

But IF those 3 players stick around and the team is healthy, why couldn’t they compete?

Schmiechel will be a huge loss. Not just as a keeper but as the teams leader. You’ve got to really splash out on a top quality keeper. But I agree there’s quality there for sure if they stay.

Maddison is likely more that they are playing the same game as Utd did with Lingaard in January. A really cynical you’re mega rich so if we’re strengthening a potential direct rival you’re paying 10-25% over the market value because you can afford it.
