I don't know. We look pretty tired already. Midfield is pretty bad with the injuries. At least Diaz got some action. There's a lot wrong with this squad that's going to take a while to fix. Waiting on a midfielder till next summer doesn't make a lot of sense with the consistent injury issues. Maybe Keita comes back and provides a spark but rolling out Henderson or Milner every week while Thiago is out isn't a winning strategy. Elliott is good but he's going to need a lot more time. Kinda feel like the window to compete with City has probably closed already. It's early but I'm already seeing a lot of issues that I'm not sure this team is built to overcome.

Nunez? The pushing. He reacted like an idiot and took the bait after the Palace player shoved him. Have to be smarter than that especially with using your head to retaliate. Pretty easy red.

Yeah but you have more quality that us. And you’re not utterly devoid of confedence. And your goalkeeper isn’t been asked to do something he’s not capable of. And your manager isn’t trying to play a style of football that isn’t going to work in England without a concession to physicality. He looked utterly shell shocked on the bench on Saturday. I could keep going for a bit longer too but I think that’s enough about how we are shit for now. If you turn up and just simply run I could see this being even more messy than the 5-0 last year.

I don’t think you can really say a defender is acting out by that kind of pushing. That’s just part of football, with a big player like Nunez you’ve got to be close and physical and needly. The headbutt is just an unacceptable moment of madness.
