It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Yea see that’s the part you miss by being there. I was in the opposite end and didn’t really know what the call was about. Also the Costa free kick made the stands go crazy. Everyone thought it was a goal, but it hit the side netting 😒

Dunno I think the payoff of the atmosphere and shared communal experience is far more enjoyable than at home and totally counterbalances missing replays etc. I really miss being able to even semi regularly see United games live.

Yea that why I go and sit in a supporters section. But I’m excited about rewatching the games when I get home or later in the week. Which Apple TV will do with the package that comes along with my season ticket.

Distance or cost? They are raising season ticket prices this year. But I am getting to take my son the the Long Beach aquarium tonight to see some fish and meet some players.

Crystal Palace gifted a goal.

Speaking of Boojy luck. This is my first season where I didn't start with Zaha on my team 😤

Gibbs-White debut underway for Forest...

I suppose on American geography it’s not distance and it’s not hugely price of the ticket either. It’s more with it being international and a different island it’s either a boat and bus (bringing a car on the boat is a real arm and a leg price wise) and giving up the whole weekend or flights which are expensive because the low cost airlines put up the cost of flights to Manchester when United are at home because they know the extra demand is there.

It’s actually also getting a ticket. United are a huge draw still and it’s hard to get tickets for decent games and there’s a big waiting list for season tickets. I’ve been away 15 years ago too so my old network for getting odds and sods from other peoples season tickets is kinda dead now too.
