The only time I have seen it TRULY backfire recently is when the 49ers signed Garropolo as a cover for Trey Lance at QB. Trey got offended that the organization didn't trust him. He ultimately got hurt and is out for the year but at first he did look like he was playing scared....however under the guide of Arteta I think it'll be healthy especially if they bring in good character folks like Tielemans

Yeah the time to buy is when you’re at the top. Because if you’re truly looking to dominate and you’ve got a good group then going stale is much more of a potential pitfall than bringing in better players to keep the group on its toes.

Hahaha! Too young! McEnroe was still around but past his best by the time I was watching properly!
