He’s also been dog rough this season. I’m getting a feeling that Pep is increasingly getting frustrated with the players having taken their foot of the gas this season and he’s ostracising those that he sees as being the worst at it. A move like this will definitely keep the squad on its toes.

Not a player I’d want as my holder. Especially not with Xhaka pushing high and Odegaard being a proper 10. Good on the ball but lacks pace and defensive nous so I could see him really struggling and being isolated and then targeted in your system. He’s ideal in Italy where they tend to pair that kind of player with Gattuso or Marchissio style player.

Good look against city with de Bruyne running off him. I’d play a fit quick attacking midfielder against him and just press and run off him constantly. I think this is one of the most bizarre ill fitting signings that I’ve seen in a while.

Partey will be playing against City lol

Jorginho will slot in on runaway matches and in Europa matches so Partey can stay healthy (Elneny is hurt)

I get it but if Partey picks up a knock, which he has form for, that’s who you’ve got. He’s absolutely not mobile or tuned on enough to back up play in such an attacking side. He could end up being horribly exposed on the counter with the way you play, much like he was under Sari when he first came to Chelsea and he was 5 years younger then.

We had Elneny behind Partey...he got hurt...Sambi isn't ready so he will go learn how to be a DM from Viera. Caicedo isn't being allowed to be sold thanks to Brighton.....so we did what we had to lol

Yeah I just don’t think you signed a player that helps, I see him as a hinderance. He’s the type of player I’d sign if I wanted someone to dictate the tempo and who I’d protect with hard working players in front.
 
Well Greenwood’s case won’t progress to trial because the CPS no longer think there is a case to answer to.

The amount of shits saying “he’s innocent”, “bring him back he’s so talented” is making me gag. We all saw that fucking video and just because it’s not realistically prosecutable doesn’t mean he’s done nothing wrong. I hope the prick is sacked.

This, amongst so many other things about the modern game is really testing me as a fan. I don’t know how much longer I can go on giving a shit if people like him are allowed to represent the team I’m following. Just hoping the club does the right thing.
