It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Strange game. Doesn’t feel like we’ve actually turned up yet but two up. Not complaining.
Newcastle were a little better earlier on but couldn’t quite piece it together. I switched over the Bayern/Union, but that looks to be the same. Bundesliga all wrapped up now too (I know they’re still level on points with Dortmund)

Yeah I expected Newcastle to start faster and us to grow into the game. Mix of their excitement at a first final in so long and our legs after a huge game on Thursday. Before the game I thought it’d be a case of seeing out the first 20-25, then growing into the match and winning it in the second half.

So they’ve taken the goal off Rashford.

The pointless panel of pointlessness at it again.

Why take a goal off a striker who’s hit a shot on goal? What defender wants an own goal against them? It’s something I really hate about the modern game.

Burnley are cake walking thru the Championship -__-

In lighter news Wrexham can take back the National League lead today and with a game in hand after it's all said and done too!

Yeah I mean that’s a story already even if they get battered next time out!

Outside of United and City there’s no real team that’d regularly be expected to reach a final.
Burnley are having a run -_- Dominating the Championship table and now a date with the final 8
