Anfield is never a place that untied go and are favourites. Even under Fergie when we were winning everything and Liverpool were nowhere we’d often get a bloody nose there.

It’s more the collapse in discipline and the managers lack of pace in reacting to it that annoys me tonight rather than getting beat.

I also haven’t bought the whole Liverpool decline either. There’s far too many good players there. It always felt more like a transition season.
 
I’m begining to think that Bruno Fernandes is not the type of player you need in your team if you’re going to win titles. His ability means he wins games and is likely an asset in a cup/top 4 team. His attitude when the chips are down means that he’s not a title winning leader. His performance today is one of the worst I’ve ever seen from a United player. His attitude as the game turned stunk to high hell and his remonstrating at the manager for not taking him off after the 7th was an utter disgrace. No one was good today. No one escapes criticism but he was the worst. He has a lot of making up to do over the remainder of the season.

He’s a bit of a William Gallas type captain, and boojy will know exactly what I mean by that!

Lol oh my. A repressed memory has been unlocked. Wish he stayed at Chelsea or wish he went right to Tottenham from Chelsea....When I made that comment about him a few weeks ago comparing him to an old friend I went easy on them. The constant bitching is what drove us crazy as kids and that is something Fernandes is great at. Whether it's at the refs, opponents, or his own teamates. Cancerous to the team types much like Gallas was at Arsenal near the end

And like Fernandes Gallas was a great player who was capable of really top performances, and pretty regularly, but he certainly wasn’t someone you can rely upon when the going gets tough, it’s all about me rather than dragging the team together.

A centre half wearing number 10 was also all kinds of wrong lol.
