If we win tomorrow the game against us will get shifted and it’s likely we will play them midweek in the last week of the season.

We potentially have an absolutely ridiculous run in now. There’s a definite chance for two of spurs/Newcastle/Liverpool to take the last two places if we end up having to prioritise.

I want to hear the impolite things, haha. I don’t have strong enough loyalties to any of these teams of players yet to get really offended or worked up over it. Between Kansas destroying my ncaa bracket yesterday with their loss and Portland getting absolutely hammered by Atlanta and DC falling to NYCFC, (and the looming reality that I was only following these teams in the first place to escape from the Trail Blazers’ free fall out of playoff contention) it’s been a rough saturday night, but all the defeats make the victories that much sweeter, right?

And I do have a half-season of tickets (8 games for $203) and I’m buying tickets for other home games that I’ll be in town for, but I would have missed too many to make a full season worth it.

First player in MLS history to have 4 goals and 4 assists in the first 4 games of the season. I’m planning to buy tickets when Atlanta comes to DC in Sept, but it sounds like he’ll almost definitely be gone by then unless something dramatic happens. I’d still have fun seeing Araujo and Purata and Gutman and Giakoumakis and Robinson and Ibarra though.
