Also the repeated quoting of that prick Romano makes me nauseous. Has repeatedly been caught out stealing other journalists actual work and not crediting them. Also his particular brand of sensationalism and his driving of transfer hubris even outside the window is everything that’s wrong with the game.

News doing the rounds this week that he was questioned last month for ANOTHER rape that happened last year. Arsenal had him out "injured" for a game and he was back the next week. It's obvious now.

Yeah that’s what the article said, he’s now under investigation for three. City did the same with Mendy, let him play on under investigation and it was only once he was charged that they suspended him. It’s hard to know what we would have done if the Greenwood case wasn’t so public but i was glad that he was suspended as soon as allegations became apparent and he was arrested under suspicion and questioned rather than waiting for the criminal charges which came a few months later.

If that Greenwood case was only testimonies and questioning he could still be playing, but they had audio evidence which was the nail in the coffin. Partey doesn't so they probably don't have enough evidence to charge him with anything. It's a terrible situation.

wow. I hope there is some sort of resolution soon. The club needs to do something, especially if he has a postponed hearing until July. This is getting ridiculous and is going to tarnish the season if/when he gets charged after the season has ended

if this was Elneny or, idk Matt Turner, they'd be long, long, long gone. But because he's essential for the club I think they're hopining he's eventually in the clear.

Also the police can’t release names. Partey and Mendy were both well informed rumours until it actually went to court. Hence the mirror not being able to name names. Might seem counterintuitive but it’s really to protect the victims identity. Greenwood wasn’t different because of the video but because the video was posted online so the whole anonymity went out the window.
