Totally. Run ins are hard on players. Especially mentally. And you have a bunch who mostly haven’t done it before and are young.

As I’m sure you know I don’t have an enormous amount of love for either of the teams going for it but I really hope you can do it. Some of the football you’ve played this year has been a breath of fresh air, city are becoming insufferable and it’d be nice to show that oil money and a terminator can be beaten by good old fashioned coaching and with a liberal sprinkling of young British and academy players.
 
A draw at Man City won’t be a disaster- still 5 clear and Man City need to win two games in hand - that fight back to rescue a point should install some belief - defending was atrocious in the first 20 mins - that’s the biggest worry

Carrick has done some job at Middlesborough. They were hovering above the drop zone when he arrived. I don’t think either catches Sheffield United though so it’s more for 3rd & 4th and deciding who plays 5th and who plays 6th, and a mental edge if they meet again, in the play offs.
