It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

i think with Kane out Richarlison at 7.0 is a great midfield pick....he plays up top and u get the bonus CS point

just need him to not do shit this week tho while I decide how to find a .5 to upgrade Mbuemo to him

Counterpoint. Zero goals last season!

Being serious though in general out of position players like Salah and Rashford are absolutely the keys to this game.

I have Maddison, I'll wait and see how Richarlison does. If he's scoreless in a few games off the bat we could see rotation with Son CF instead.

I never get Salah in but I'm starting him every week this season. Unless he has a serious injury or something he'll pay dividends once again over the whole season. Having Kane gone makes selection a lot easier.

I just went Haaland and sucked up the price. Unless he gets a bad injury he’ll start most weeks and score too many to ignore.

I honestly think Son is physically too lightweight to play upfront alone or in a front 3. Richarlisson has a bit more about him that way.

lol he can only go up from here! Havertz is another one. With Jesus out for probably 5 weeks he will be playing CF unless there is some injury he picks up

I dont have Salah and wasn't going Kane...I am riding the TAA redemption train this year! Especially since he is going to function as a midfielder primarily

I’d be more likely to pick Havertz and think he’ll score as a midfielder than as a striker. He’s always looked awkward there and Chelsea’s prolonged experiment with it was a failure.

Maybe, he's done well as makeshift forward when Kane's been injured or out in the past. However he hasn't really impressed at all in pre-season so time will tell.

Way too expensive right now with both Salah/Haaland but him being DEF and basically whipping in crosses will be unfair again.

It largely depends. On the break his pace will cause issues but his inability to hold up the ball could see you pinned in. Against a weaker side with no space behind I’m not so sure beyond like long range efforts.

this is a good point because we've been dominating possession in pre-season, bar, Barca but Spurs were all over them in the first half.
