It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

I actually stopped watching when I started working at the law firm im at now because I was so busy at the time and me and my wife started dating (it was around the end of 2015-2016) and Arsenal started sucking but I still regret that. It took me a little to get back into it as well. I'd say like 2019 but yea. It's the best
I started watching in 1990 but then had a “dark period” around 2002-2009 where I didn’t watch much beyond the 2006 WC. Missed some epic stuff like the Miracle of Istanbul, the Invincibles, Ronaldinho’s peak, etc. Ironically I started watching the EPL around the same time I went to law school, because back then ESPN3 streamed games for free. Been at it ever since!

I know it’s early but who’s going to California for some WC action?

N&G meet up!
The nearest US host city to me is Kansas City 12h away… but I’m still committed to going as long as I can get tickets. I tried online for the 2014 WC and had no luck. Would GREATLY appreciate the scoop on how to get them this time around! Any tips?

Woeful defending and woeful goalkeeping. Was more rotted to his line than de Gea and just weird falling on his arse and leaving an open goal.
