It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

The only thing worse than that tool Goldbridge who claims to support us is the Arse TV crew and their disciples.

Oh and spurs fans, even Ange hates them now…
Ange only hates the Spurs fans that were rooting for the team to lose so Arsenal don't win the league. There was a lot of infighting about that very same thing among Spurs fans (I am on the "we should fight for a UCL spot" side).

To be fair ever since they got rid of Troopz and the abuser fuck DT it has been way better.

They still talk shit here and their but that is what sports is for....Young kids Cecil and James that they recently hired actually provide great content especially James "tactical insight" show

I think the way they treated Wenger and now that then bled into some shocking banners and chants in the ground, will always taint them in my eyes. Soured the end of one of the two most important men in your football clubs history. He should be on the board and at every match as a lauded great for what he did. It’s sad how disconnected it feels he is from the club he made what it is in the modern era.

I suppose I always saw fan channels and fan service content as meaningless bullshit. It’s just way too emotional in both directions. That shit is for the pub with your mates. I’ve always preferred more neutral video and written content…

There were some that were big on the Wegner out train near the end but there were some others (Like Robbie) on the channel that would shoot down Claude, or DT when they started their shit

TBF I admire Wegner but I will say the way Klopp went out was a masterclass.....No such thing as someone like Wegner "overstaying" because he is the man that built the machine but it did get a little wonky the last couple years.

He came in right before I became a fan and I will never forget those early years. I wanna say him and those squads made me a fan to this day....Had I been, say a Leicester fan, idk if I wouldve made it 15 years waiting for success. Probably would only watch the World Cups lol

It’s hard to explain it to people who didn’t see it happen in real time but he changed English football in a way that only Fergie, himself, Boreinho and Pep have in my lifetime. And he did it using the foundation of the old long ball, offside trap, 1-0 to the Arsenal team. And the transformation was so fast. That first double winning team was a real machine, not as fluid going forward as the team you remember, but very exciting all the same, and really hard to beat mentally or physically either because it was full of real big hard men who could also get the ball down and play. I think people forget that in keeping you in the champions league on a shoestring in the latter years that he effectively paid for that huge stadium you had. It’s a bit soulless and man do I love the old Highbury, but it was a necessary change given the constraints and capacity at the old place.

the more folks I've talked to the more it's becoming clear that they had no chance of evading the 115 charges completely so the only defense is to threaten the entire structure of the league, so they can say to the league "drop the charges against us or it's going to get messy"

It’s also a typical rich corporate law strategy. We can use the limitless funds at our disposal to throw around all sorts of spurious claims and tie you up in all sorts of litigation to spread your more limited resources too thin or actually even make you hit a point where you have to drop your claim because you just can’t afford to throw more money at it.

early rumors: Arsenal are going to sign Ben Sesko as soon as the window opens next week

and they are going to submit a bid for Rashford 👀

I don’t think the second one happens. I can’t see United or, to be fair him, going for another English club. If he goes my money would be on Paris.

rumors died down alot after u all won the FA cup....I can't see it myself but we are looking for a left winger to challenge Martinelli

If City gets the full punishment, would they be relegated to Championship?

And if the Prem were to go to shit, what would be the next best league to follow?
Full punishment would be them booted to the National League lol they'd have to work their way back up the pyramid for a few years before they're back
